I write this today in sticky, energy sapping 30 degree heat, Summer has definitely arrived in the UK after months of cold, dank, dreary weather and frankly, I’m about to keel over!! So as Summer scorches over England’s green and pleasant land it gives me the chance to sit down in the sweat and tell you what’s been happening lately in the !daft! camp.
It’s been a very long time since we did an actual newsletter but with so much going on these days, and quite a few people suggesting we get them up and running again, I am pleased to bring you a new edition. Since the last time we did one quite a lot has changed. We have a new website with modern and contemporary functionality, and a lot more content than before. Certain areas are still under development though, so excuse the odd screwdriver and hammer laying about. We also have a new drummer! Darren sadly left the band in December 2011 and since then Phil has acquired the drummers throne and is now fully up and running having got off to a flying start. Thank you all for your support during the transition, both Phil and Darren were honoured by your positive comments and well wishes.
